Then this should be named calcoo-gtk2. Or indicate that somewhere in package description.

I receive an error in compiling this (on a 64bit system):
/usr/bin/ld: c_op.o: undefined reference to symbol 'cos@@GLIBC_2.2.5'
/usr/bin/ld: note: 'cos@@GLIBC_2.2.5' is defined in DSO /lib/libm.so.6 so try adding it to the linker command line
I'm not sure how to deal with that.

I found some issues with your tarball. Binaries are usually frowned upon. Such as:
calcoo/calcoo.png
"Just an icon" you say, but I think you can do better. Thank you.
