Please upload the KF5 PKBUILD for this package. It is still following the 2.9 branch instead of trunk. If you run -git, you probably expect unstable development code ;)

Sevenseven commented on 2015-12-30 07:11 (UTC)

Right, for some reason namcap cant handle this.

neubauten84 commented on 2015-12-27 15:26 (UTC)

Great!!But why still kdebase-runtime as dependency???I removed it without any problem..

Sevenseven commented on 2015-12-25 21:12 (UTC)

Inital kf5 pkgbuild

neubauten84 commented on 2015-12-17 22:06 (UTC)

I modified PKGBUILD to try it and it works..ALPHA 1 works pretty well!!

neubauten84 commented on 2015-10-26 16:08 (UTC)

I tried but it's too complicated for me..PKGBUILD must be modified (dependencies, build variables..). I'll wait you to release new pkgs when betas'll roll out. Tks!

Sevenseven commented on 2015-10-24 11:43 (UTC)

Master is kf5 branch.

neubauten84 commented on 2015-10-24 10:29 (UTC)

Wich is kf5 branch??I would try it..but I can't find anything about it.. I browsed anongit repo but no kf5 referencies..

Sevenseven commented on 2015-10-01 16:08 (UTC)

I`ll switch brach around 1st beta.

arojas commented on 2015-09-15 09:10 (UTC)

This should be renamed to calligra-2.9-git, the calligra-git package should follow trunk which is now KF5-based.

Sevenseven commented on 2015-05-22 23:04 (UTC)

ilmbase provide, i think some pkg need rebuild against new version ilmbase .

commented on 2013-06-05 03:06 (UTC)

I think you can remove calligra-templates because calligra-tools covers the whole extras directory where the templates have been moved to.

commented on 2013-06-04 14:16 (UTC)

correction /build/extras/filemanagertemplates

petelewis commented on 2011-12-10 10:48 (UTC)

@rugebiker and others confused by this: calligra-libs-git is built as part of this package. It's a split package, but the AUR interface doesn't handle these properly, so it doesn't show up on the web page right. Just download the tarball and build as usual. It will work :-)

commented on 2011-12-10 08:21 (UTC)

Calligra-okular-odpgenerator is a optdep for okular, marble is a dep of calligra-libs.

commented on 2011-08-28 06:37 (UTC)

As optional dependencies, they should be included as optdepends=() in the packages that have the option to use them. At the moment they are listed as makedepends.

Sevenseven commented on 2011-08-27 21:47 (UTC)

Thank you, Kiv. @Thrall, okular and marble are optional(marble for kexi forms and opendocument presenter support for okular) Updte: removed kformula,kformula-doc and stage-doc, new pkg- calligra-active.

commented on 2011-08-27 14:35 (UTC)

Are 'kdegraphics-okular' and 'kdeedu-marble' really needed as dependencies? No mention of them on

commented on 2011-08-23 04:48 (UTC)

I had to remove kformula, kplato and correct the entry for stage (was trying to cd build/kpresenter instead of build/stage) to get it to build.

commented on 2011-06-07 05:19 (UTC)

I can confirm, as canuckkat pointed out, the PKGBUILD is not installing packages in the right order. It is not possible to install this using yaourt without modifying the PKGBUILD or manually installing the compiled packages.

Sevenseven commented on 2011-05-26 15:49 (UTC)

It`s not broken, man pacman: -U, --upgrade Upgrade or add package(s) to the system and install the required dependencies from sync repos.

Yes, I know how to do that (installed calligra-libs-git and then pacman -U calligra-*-git*.xz or something), but your PKGBUILD is still broken cuz it's not installing things in the right order. I use yaourt btw but I can easily do it manually and get to the same problem.

Greetings, You need to change the git address, as the one in your pkgbuild times out. Here's the correct git address: git://

jonnor commented on 2010-12-30 13:17 (UTC)

It is recommended by upstream that the libraries and applications are packaged separately: This is probably what will happen in the repositories for the stable versions, so you might want to consider doing that.
