Yes, calligra uncompilable with dcmtk)

vladimiroff commented on 2011-09-19 06:35 (UTC)

Yep. I've tried to recompile dcmtk with -fPIC(in CFLAGS and CXXFLAFS) in my makepkg.con file, but the calligra-git build fails again: http://paste.kde.org/123325/

@Vladimiroff dcmtk intalled and compiled without fpic?

It fails on x86_64: [ 91%] Building CXX object filters/words/dcm/CMakeFiles/dcmimport.dir/DCMImportDialog.o Linking CXX shared module ../../../lib/dcmimport.so /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.6.1/../../../../lib/libdcmsr.a(dsrdoc.o): relocation R_X86_64_32S against `vtable for DSRDocument' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.6.1/../../../../lib/libdcmsr.a: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [lib/dcmimport.so] Error 1 make[1]: *** [filters/words/dcm/CMakeFiles/dcmimport.dir/all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

Calligra-okular-odpgenerator is a optdep for okular, marble is a dep of calligra-libs.

<deleted-account> commented on 2011-08-28 06:37 (UTC)

As optional dependencies, they should be included as optdepends=() in the packages that have the option to use them. At the moment they are listed as makedepends.

Thank you, Kiv. @Thrall, okular and marble are optional(marble for kexi forms and opendocument presenter support for okular) Updte: removed kformula,kformula-doc and stage-doc, new pkg- calligra-active.

<deleted-account> commented on 2011-08-27 14:35 (UTC)

Are 'kdegraphics-okular' and 'kdeedu-marble' really needed as dependencies? No mention of them on http://community.kde.org/Calligra/Building/Building_Calligra

<deleted-account> commented on 2011-08-23 04:48 (UTC)

I had to remove kformula, kplato and correct the entry for stage (was trying to cd build/kpresenter instead of build/stage) to get it to build.

Fixed.
