The correct english name for this software should be "Compass and Ruler"; it is a good packaging work however and works like a charm. Thank you.

It's not about being newer or older, but the current PKGBUILD assumes the files and folders from car.zip rather than zirkel.zip. It therefore fails with: ==> Starting package()... /tmp/yaourt-tmp-photon/aur-car/./PKGBUILD: line 22: cd: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-photon/aur-car/src/car: No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package(). Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build car.

There have always been car.zip and zirkel.zip around. Please prove me that car.zip is newer than 2015.08.10. If you look at the PKGBUILD the name of the binary is defined there, not in the tarball. I made this consistent now.

Please update: 1. File name is now car.zip, not zirkel.zip. 2. Its md5 is now 93c0894d88357f704558b94726281f2f. 3. Executable seems to be car-draw, not car, so the .desktop file needs to be updated.

11 is out and ucommon contains /usr/bin/car. maybe install as /usr/bin/zul? (german name)

9.3 is out so md5sum from car.zip is now wrong. Please use bff8b19a6eb74da2a56f46d82deefca8.
