An update on the depends for this package would be nice. I removed the external plugins, like zyn, from the default build. And linuxsampler was replaced by internal sfzero code.

So please remove fftw, linuxsampler, mxml, ntk, projectm and zynaddsubfx

@falkTX: the optdepends wouldn't work that way.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but AFAICS to make these features available, they need to be compiled/linked into libcarla_standalone2.so. So they need at least be added to makedepends. But if they are linked into the shared library, carla won't start if the package providing the shared library isn't installed. A package should always be usable without any packages form optdepends installed.

In short, the packages you mention are compile-time options, but not run-time options (and optdepends is only for the latter).

I see clxclient is still there, please remove it.

Also remove DEFAULT_QT=5 from the make arguments, Qt5 is now the default.

I would like to see a few things moved into recommends instead of being depends. This being:

ffmpeg - extra audio support in the audio-file plugin

liblo - OSC support

fluidsynth - SF2 file support

linuxsampler - GIG and SFZ file support

projectm - internal ProM plugin

ntk-git - NTK UI for internal zyn

I have removed the experimental plugins from latest git. Please update the PKGBUILD for it. Changes are: 1. remove zita-convolver, zita-resampler, clxclient, clthreads dependencies 2. remove EXPERIMENTAL_PLUGINS=true from the make steps Thank you.
