It seems they're gonna support java11, just a heads up https://cassandra.apache.org/doc/latest/new/java11.html

I got some sick null pointer errors when running so I tried to use a newer Java(11) but nope. This doesn't even appear to start if it's not on java 8, the wiki says so too, why doesn't the package reflect that? Turns out the null pointers were my fault but I also had some permission denied errors out of the box

Running that gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-keys A278B781FE4B2BDA allowed me to build this.

@w4rdriver: Can you try running gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-keys A278B781FE4B2BDA?

hey guys I'm unable to import the key A26E528B271F19B9E5D8E19EA278B781FE4B2BDA thus the build process fails

@naraesk: Yes, those warnings are because there are a few library files for non-x86 architectures in the cassandra package. I think they could be fixed by removing those libraries before building.
