That works just fine for me on manjaro with the existing patches (the only annoyance is that I have to compile the older kernels anew because otherwise I get gcc/plugin versions are incompatible)

EDIT: and even 5.3 is good with the patches below

I gave up investing more time when 5.2 was only booting into a black screen.

Looking at it a bit i would assume it should be set_pages_array, requiring to somehow get/populate a suitable page struct…

So.. Like, fixing two out of three problems for compiling on 5.4 was relatively easy.

But I'm really struggling with the set_memory_array functions. Should that become set_memory or set_pages_array?

I setup the repos here: http://167.86.114.169/arch/

ie. pacman.conf entry: [xorg117] Server = http://167.86.114.169/arch/xorg117/$arch

Still old packages tho, I shall update them soon

Thanks npfeiler, you are the best!

About the repo - I get no answer so I guess we will not see it again. However I just rent some cheap vps to play with, so I will publish repo there. Hopefully during the weekend.

Technically speaking you can still retrieve the packages from https://sourceforge.net/projects/manjarodev/files/users/philm/xorg117/ , https://web.archive.org/web/20171026161807/http://mirror.hactar.xyz/Vi0L0/xorg117/x86_64/ and https://web.archive.org/web//http://catalyst.wirephire.com/repo/

@Vi0l0 hactar.xyz is still inaccessible. Any news about that?

@erikvdv: hey, I'm investigating it
