just like commit says:
- adding new patch from crimson
- removing gcc49 dependency
- adding initial grsec kernel support

should be safe to remove gcc49 pkg :)

catalyst-test now supports 4.2 kernel. You have to install gcc49, thought.
Feel free to test and give feedback - especially if your system is i686 or when its not working.

Thanks for the Gnome fix!

It would be most easy for you if you would use catalyst-test from AUR or [catalyst] repository. Look at instalation and configuration on wiki, it should be simple:

catalyst doesn't support 4.2 kernel, so boot your system from linux-lts (configure the bootloader to use it).

Also since you are using gnome 3.18 read my comment below and use my patched cogl package

GNOME 3.18 fix
In [catalyst] and [catalyst-stable] you may find a new package cogl 1.22.0-2. It brings fix for recent problems with new GNOME 3.18 and new GDM (it baheves strange with plasma though, after choosing plasma and entering password I have to switch to tty and then back to X to see plasma desktop, probably another bug).
Source and a patch is here:

updated to 15.9
4.2 kernel is in [core] and we still don't have support for it.
So for now please use linux-lts kernel.

be aware that I removed linux from dependency array and so it will let linux to update (while it's not supported tongue), if you will not configure bootloader to use kernel older than 4.2, like linux-lts, it will probably boot linux and you will probably gonna see a freeze or blank screen. System should work though, you can ssh to it and config bootloader from here, or use single mode if you can't ssh, or well there's possibility that linux-lts was added before, boot it and config as default kernel to boot.

I suffer terrible performance issue (Radeon HD6570) when I try to resize windows (particularly chromium) under xfce. The windows flinker and take a lot of the to resize. It may be the same bug as the chromium glitch mentioned in the comment below. For now, I use the opensource ati driver that does not have this problem and seems to work relatively well.

feel free to add comment - this should make it more "visible"
