Caudec has a clone on GitHub at https://github.com/text-editor/caudec, it would seem.

"Initial commit of caudec 1.7.5 source provided by Guillaume Cocatre-Zilgien via email when caudec.net site was taken down"

ftp://ftp5.frugalware.org/mirror/ftp.frugalware.org/pub/frugalware/frugalware-2.0/source/multimedia-extra/caudec/caudec-1.7.5.tar.gz link still works if someone interested.

I was able to find the source here: http://www4.frugalware.org/pub/linux/distributions/frugalware/frugalware-2.0/source/multimedia-extra/caudec/ In the PKGBUILD it's need to change the line from: source=("http://caudec.net/downloads/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz") to source=("http://www4.frugalware.org/pub/linux/distributions/frugalware/frugalware-2.0/source/multimedia-extra/$pkgname/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz")
