I can't do anything for this, this bug is related to the kernel release which contains only 2 digits on Archlinux (3.0-ARCH), and 3 on Debian (3.0.3) You can only bootstrap wheezy for the moment.

hello, i've tried to install squeeze using this and i've an internal error log with --verbose http://pastebin.archlinux.fr/433653 the relevant part i think is here, kernel version issue too O: Selecting previously deselected package libc6. This package is just a few days old, maybe you're confusing cdebootstrap and cdebootstrap-static, It works on x86_64, but it has not be tested on i686. Try "yaourt -S cdebootstrap-static" and tell me if you have a problem ;)

hi, has this package become unavailable ? My yaourt cdebootstrap is today not finding it , although a couple of weeks ago another machine where I did this worked fine. Haroldo
