Cerbere will soon be deprecated.

In effect, it already has been for the upcoming elementary OS release cycle.

If the pull request is deemed correct it will be merged upstream, I'd rather wait for that to happen.

There are problem with long shutdown because cerbere incorrectly handles systemd's signals. There is a pull request fixing this problem: https://github.com/elementary/cerbere/pull/23 I tested this and it really fixes the problem. I think we should add this patch to package.

Did you try building in a clean chroot with devtools? Building works fine here, with or without devtools.

Hi, I have an issue building it : error: Packagegee-0.8' not found in specified Vala API directories or GObject-Introspection GIR directories` whereas the lib check confirms libgee is installed. Full log here : https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/05bh8sfMUomKLks7YuDN6A

There is version 0.2.2 available on launchpad though.

It's not, I was waiting for a new release to update, but it seems it won't be coming for a while. Removed the install script.

The install script is not required anymore, correct? I think this job is now done by pacman hooks? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME_package_guidelines#GSettings_schemas
