namcap has some info that you might want to take a look at:

One last thing: pkgrel generally starts at 0, not 1.
Apart from these cosmetic issues, the package works fine, thanks!

The upstream URL should point to the project website, not to a tarball.
Please use sha256sums instead of md5sums (except if upstream only publishes MD5 checksums, but it's rare)
Lastly, why do you need the static library?

Thank you very much for the update. :)

Hey, I have another quick remark.
In the PKGBUILD you have entered the package as conflicting with itself and also replacing itself. I think that pacaur had a special rule to ignore something like that, but now I am using aurutils and there it leads to the package being installed over and over again.
Would you mind to remove the package itself from 'conflicts' and 'replaces'?

Thank you. That was an idiot error. Had updated the PKGBUILD and did a test build on 1.5, then for whatever reason, then didn't get the url updated in the PKGBUILD in the aur git repo. Good catch. Fixed.

Upstream URL needs to be updated to the current version.
