@j_4321 It's working fine now. Thanks!

@jghodd @caml With version 1.2.0, the GUI toolkit used for the system tray icon can be chosen, and 'Qt' should be the working fine in KDE. Let me know if there are still issues.

@jghodd Still no luck? I'm having the exact same problem, running KDE Plasma 5.

@jghodd Right-clicking on the icon is supposed to make the menu appear. What desktop environment are you using? I am using Xfce and I have never experienced the issue you are having.

I've done a little poking around in the source code and as far as I can tell, tktray is likely the source of the problem since it seems to be responsible for the behaviour of the menu, or at least the management of tray icon events. I also built mynotes, and I'm seeing exactly the same issue - hovering over the tray icon, or right-clicking, or left-clicking on the icon produces a background with the app's icon on it and the string "!icon" beside it. I've run it from the command-line and it produces no errors. No errors appear in any log file either.

Any suggestions?

After starting checkmails the first time and providing a master password, it notifies me that I have to use the "mailbox manager" to add accounts. I've right-clicked, left-clicked, tried everything, but cannot access anything that resembles a mailbox manager or anything that allows me to set up mailboxes at all. Is the app broken or am I missing something?
