Current release should behave properly with install locations; let me know if not.

Hi plmday Sounds like you're using chicken 4.5.0. You might find that, if you do a `pacman -Qo /usr/lib/chicken/5/readline.so` that you get "error: No package owns readline.so". The chicken-install app seems to ignore the CHICKEN_INSTALL_PREFIX env var and tries to copy the files directly to /usr/lib/chicken/5 instead of into $pkgdir to be added to the package. Try the following PKGBUILD (the documentation html file seems to change fairly frequently so you may need to update its' md5sum again manually). http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=W0yuniTz

Thanks nickgibbon, one more change needed chicken-install ==> chicken-install -s which uses sudo to chicken-install it into /usr/lib/chicken/[45]/
