@ripplingsnake This software is not really related to gamescope session and has nothing to do with switch to desktop.

I have this installed and gamescope-session-steam-git. It boots into game mode fine , however exiting to switch to desktop just shuts down steam and then restarts gamemode. Also I seem to be missing return to game mode desktop shortcut ( arch Linux) with sddm manager
