Please add systemd to makedepends or just switch the libsystemd in depend to systemd, packaging fails in chroot without this.

I agree with @willemw:

chkservice ought to build from a specific source archive – e.g., github releases.

A build from current master ought to be called chkservice-git.

@linuxenko: Or even better: keep the package name and use "source=" to download the files.

@linuxenko: Building the latest committed files from git, instead of building a specific version/release, means that it is a VCS package and that the package name must end on "-git". If the sources are compiled into binary files, then the package can only be installed on one cpu architecture. The package file name (chkservice*.xz) must mention the specific cpu architecture ('i686' or 'x86_64', not 'any').

@willemw , huh ? The package name and arch is correct, please explain what do you mean.

willemw commented on 2017-10-18 13:42 (UTC)

The package name should be chkservice.git. The package should follow the VCS package guidelines. "arch" should be arch=('i686' 'x86_64').
