Always build your packages with devtools (extra-x86-64_build or pkgctl) and you'll be aware about the package issues before releasing it

@muflone I've added 

--pkgname="${pkgname%-bin}"
in the `gendesk` section, even though it was not needed.

You can see the manual of gendesk:

A package name must be given, either by specifying a PKGBUILD file, using --pkgname or by defining a $pkgname environment variable.
Note that a "-bin", "-git", "-hg" or "-svn" suffix in a package name will be ignored, if present.

that gendesk command line will produce a file named PKGBUILD.desktop, hence the chrolog.desktop will be missing

specify the --pkgname argument to save the result in your desired file

@muflone I've used the gendesk to generate .desktop files:

gendesk -q -f -n --categories="Utility" --name="${_pkgname}" --exec="${pkgname%-bin} %U"

Have you changed your $stardir PATH or some other variables？
