I've changed the package to get the source archive from Google Drive with a python script found on stack overflow https://stackoverflow.com/a/39225039/230917

that makes python-requests a make dependency

You could put them in an s3 bucket or similar.. to be honest though I might try to automate something like this myself (got a new drone-ci server to learn)

the problem is that I've not found a way to download the zip file from google drive from the PKGBUILD. is there some CLI downloader that supports gdrive?

the only workaround for now is to manually download the zip

Dropbox link doesn't work anymore. You can get the file from the upstream url via google docs though.

If I get the source zip file with the sha256sum of 8ab6e5f0226613504e30f71e4e88079f7e6bc9b77fd696fdbe058b06868729d9
unpacking it reports errors:

chromecast1200/1200_050907-0078-TamalpaisSunset.jpg: ZIP bad CRC: 0xe4fce528 should be 0x53798c98

bsdtar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.

I'd suspect dropbox is shit, but couldn't use the other sources from a script.
