Chromedriver updated the upstream endpoints, which my script didn't detect, so this package was out of date for a week. My script (source at https://github.com/Raymo111/dotfiles/blob/main/scripts/update-chromedriver.sh) now uses the https://googlechromelabs.github.io/chrome-for-testing/last-known-good-versions-with-downloads.json endpoint provided by Chromedriver.

This package is updated automatically (checked every 2 hours that my computer is on) based on the latest versions from https://chromedriver.chromium.org/. Please do not flag as out-of-date for at least 24 hours from when you see the version update on that website. Thank you.

@wshuman3 This package is not out-of-date. The latest stable release of chromedriver is still 74.0.3729.6 as of now1. If you want the latest beta version of chromedriver (75.0.3770.8), please install chromedriver-beta instead. Unflagging false out-of-date flag.

@kageurufu I think your suggestions make perfect sense and I rolled back the version of this package to v72. I also submitted chromedriver-beta package to keep in sync with google-chrome-beta as well. Sorry for the hassles.

Note: The latest version of aur/chromedriver posted (73.0.3683) only supports google-chrome-beta

I believe with google's move to tied versions of chrome to chromedriver, chromedriver on AUR needs to be split

chromedriver providing 72.0.3626
chromedriver-beta providing 73.0.3683
chromedriver-dev providing 2.46 as recommended by http://chromedriver.chromium.org/downloads

I would request that this PKGBUILD be rolled back to 72.0.3626, and a separate package chromedriver-beta be uploaded providing 73.0.3683 if it is needed

Additionally, the PKGBUILD lists i686 support, which is not correct, as chromedriver is not available for 32 bit linux

@Agt Fixed checksum, sorry for that.

Hello,

md5sum is wrong for chromedriver_2.39_linux64.zip ("ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!" with "makepkg -si").

That's probably because Git commit a1420a0b9305 (Update to 2.39) updated the version but not the md5sum.
