GCC7 needs to be used for this package, otherwise this happens:

gcc -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=600 -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=200809L -O2 -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=600 -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=200809L -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--sort-common -Wl,--as-needed -Wl,-z -Wl,relro -Wl,-z -Wl,now -o cilk2c analyze.o ast.o complex-types.o constexpr.o container.o conversions.o dataflow.o elide.o initializer.o list.o main.o operators.o output.o print-ast.o procedure.o profile.o simplify.o sideeffects.o sem-check.o strings.o sue.o symbol.o transform.o type.o type2.o typequal.o verify-parse.o warning.o gbuf.o ANSI-C.o c4.o hint.o astModify.o stringParse.o wildcard.o astEquals.o wildcardTable.o testEquals.o atmTransform.o -lm /usr/bin/ld: output.o: in function output_constant': output.c:(.text+0xdeb): undefined reference toPrintChar' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Thanks, updated.

I think this PKGBUILD needs the 'staticlibs' option, because cilkc depends on the libcilkrt0.a static library which gets stripped without the 'staticlibs' option.

The answer to the compilation problem can be found here :!topic/comp.os.linux.development.apps/UiqFsaH69Aw

You can copy an updated PKGBUILD at :

Note : the makefile does not install the documentation : I added by hand the installation of the file manual.pdf in
/usr/share/cilk It would be nice to fix that and install all the examples, FAQ, etcetera... (it can be done by adding
other install commands as I did, but it would be nicer to force make to do that automatically).

I am getting an error during makepkg ... I looked at the header file, but I'm not sure if that's the problem or not.
