@FabioLolix I have the same problem as moop250; here's a download to the logfile: https://limewire.com/d/70839992-a0b6-4e8f-8c2e-96d7fff2a442#hDN8PDXRHjssxCPNv3o4Et3i0qchtK4lPyG8e7NNLTA

@moop250 I builded both this and the git variant both with makepkg and devtools and the 4 attempt worked, your message says that something have failed but don't says where or that is this pkgbuild, you can either send me directly a full log or upload it on a pastebin service and then link here

@Carlos you're welcome to not both flag and comment at the same time, likely a temporary issue from one of the sides, can't replicate

I have seen something similar last year with handbrake, something like the bundled ffmpeg isn't the latest and pickup but isn't compatible with the system's vulkan headers or similar
by building in a chroot the vulkan headers aren't present and the build don't fail

@FabioLolix Oh, that's true, thanks, the local package does upgrade OK. But anyway it's still unclear why it doesn't via AUR helper as usual...
FabioLolix commented on 2024-04-28 09:05 (UTC)
The package have already been build; just install it
Making a local Arch packages repository is not mandatory and have an additional maintainance burden
