To all, use cinelerra-gg instead https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/cinelerra-gg/

Same problem than Gustav there... make[1]: [build/Makefile.cinelerra:27 : all] Erreur 2 make[1] : on quitte le répertoire « /home/jerome/.cache/yay/cinelerra-heroine/src/cinelerra-7.2 » make: [Makefile:2 : all] Erreur 2 ==> ERREUR : Une erreur s’est produite dans build().

Looks like this AUR package is broken. (yasm and nasm installed from officialk supported repos did the same)

Hi FabioLolix

I've tried installing this, but it fails with:

make[4]: Går til katalog "/home/gpp/.cache/yay/cinelerra-heroine/src/cinelerra-7.2/thirdparty/pulseaudio-13.0/src" Makefile:11715: manglende skilletegn. Stop. make[4]: Forlader katalog "/home/gpp/.cache/yay/cinelerra-heroine/src/cinelerra-7.2/thirdparty/pulseaudio-13.0/src" make[3]: [Makefile:825: all-recursive] Fejl 1 make[3]: Forlader katalog "/home/gpp/.cache/yay/cinelerra-heroine/src/cinelerra-7.2/thirdparty/pulseaudio-13.0" make[2]: [Makefile:640: all] Fejl 2 make[2]: Forlader katalog "/home/gpp/.cache/yay/cinelerra-heroine/src/cinelerra-7.2/thirdparty/pulseaudio-13.0" make[1]: [build/Makefile.cinelerra:27: all] Fejl 2 make[1]: Forlader katalog "/home/gpp/.cache/yay/cinelerra-heroine/src/cinelerra-7.2" make: *** [Makefile:2: all] Fejl 2

Yeah, it's in Danish, but essentially it is borking at (my translation):

make[4]: Entering directory "/home/gpp/.cache/yay/cinelerra-heroine/src/cinelerra-7.2/thirdparty/pulseaudio-13.0/src" Makefile:11715: *** missing separator. Stop.

The rest is the build program leaving directories with error codes.

Cheers! Gustav

BTW, Heroine Virtual has released 4.6.1 in December, so this package is out of date now.

For our Live CD project on cinelerra-cv.org we've built the new version already and we added new patches to fix the fonts that are too big, build with gcc 5.x and added a patch to make the viewer initially visible on the first start.

It's for Slackware but if someone wants to adapt, feel free to do so:

To fix the toolame error on gcc 5.x, this patch is needed:

I was glad to find this package.
Unfortunately, after I issued the `makepkg -sri --log` command, it did't work.
Here is the log: http://systemicresponse.com/share/cinelerra-heroine-4.6-2-x86_64-build.log

symlink in /usr/bin no found in /usr/lib/cinelerra..
:-/

floft commented on 2015-10-28 01:49

I suppose maybe even adding a check that'll make build() return 1 if the binary wasn't built thus alerting you when it failed would be useful. As for why it's not building, I don't really have time at the moment to look into it. If anybody else wants to maintain this, I can disown it.

oberon2007 commented on 2015-10-27 09:21

Unfortunately not usable because the PKGBUILD creates a symlink in /usr/bin pointing to an inexistent file in /usr/lib/cinelerra

I've got the same issue, here is the build output while trying to "make -C cinelerra" from the package function:
