I tried http://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora-secondary/releases/30/Everything/i386/os/Packages/c/cinnamon-applet-globalappmenu-0.6-6.git20160913.5b55d2d.fc30.noarch.rpm

looks like it requires some more patching

So the sources (and MD5) have to be updated in order to get this to install at all (.../29/Everything/i386/os/Packages/c/cinnamon-applet-globalappmenu-0.6-5.git20160913.5b55d2d.fc29.noarch.rpm, but it doesn't seem like this works in Cinnamon 4.4.7

Some more info, the error it throws when adding it to a panel is "Init error No signal 'tracked-window-change' on object 'CinnamonWindowTracker'"

Why is this extracting the source a second time? makepkg already does it for you.

"I discontinued unity-gtk-module-standalone-bzr" https://github.com/tetzank/qmenu_hud/issues/9

It looks like "unity-gtk-module-standalone-bzr" has been changed to "appmenu-gtk-module-git". This package needs the updated dependency.

"There was a problem loading selected item, and it has been disabled." I get that message when trying to add it to cinnamon.
