set_wheel.patch fails; --enable-compile-warnings=yes compile option is not needed since it is now the default with https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/commit/b9d765534a7f5cdeb18755d0ffed869dc04ba947 python2 and PAM fixes are not needed with https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/commit/b9737026004b545ca3fe097b75ac0ae208eaae7d

Not sure. I could not get it to be fully working, and as twa022 pointed, probably the best way from now on is to stick with the cinnamon from [community]. Don't know what is the AUR's policy in this case. Theoretically, even after deleting the pkg, its PKGBUILD/tar.gz is still accessible by the URL, so one could still get it to not start from scratch again.

Is there a real interest in keeping this package? Do people depend on it?

I imagine with Linux Mint's new release policy (following Ubuntu LTS), it's going to be harder to maintain the Cinnamon environment in Arch. I disowned all the -git packages if anyone else feels like they can keep up with patching against upstream and wants to adopt them.
