There is a "loop" here. The version is 1:0.4.4.r100.gdc4dc54, but after installation is 1:0.4.4.r100.gdc4dc54c but updating version 1:0.4.4.r100.gdc4dc54 is condidered newer...

Written with StackEdit.

The build-config doesn't utilize multiple cores for compiling.

This is the build-time on my AMD Ryzen 7 2700X:

makepkg -si 157.37s user 15.36s system 96% cpu 2:58.51 total

Add this line before the build command:

export MAKEFLAGS="-j$(cat /proc/cpuinfo | awk '/^processor/{print $3}' | wc -l)"

This changes reduces the build time to this:

makepkg -si 245.04s user 21.70s system 712% cpu 37.422 total

pulse is at least a makedependency. I get the following error without it:

CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set to NOTFOUND.
Please set them or make sure they are set and tested correctly in the CMake files:
PULSEAUDIO_LIBRARY
linked by target "ckb-next" in directory /build/ckb-next-git/src/ckb-next-git/src/gui

Hi, i have a problem when i try to install latest version from git, the console throw this error

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
ckb-next-git: /lib exists in filesystem (owned by filesystem)
ckb-next-git: /lib/udev/rules.d/99-ckb-next-daemon.rules exists in filesystem

I try uninstall and reinstall but the problem continues with this error

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
ckb-next-git: /lib exists in filesystem (owned by filesystem)
