Maybe someone using this gtk3 build here can confirm and help finding the cause of claws-mail gtk3 (3.99.0 beta releasefor me) crashing under sway right at start. Upstream claws maintainers don't use native wayland so far and can't confirm. The sway debug log shows some socket related issue.

That new build is pretty unusable for me. Enabling/disabling msg preview "V"seems totally broken. Going back to gtk2 build for now.

Upstream has just converted to Python 3. Some adjustments will be needed, e.g., replace 'pygtk' with 'python-gobject'. Might as well also add 'webkit2gtk' for fancy and 'gumbo-parser' for litehtml (both as make and optional depends).
