There's a new package (clifm-nerd) compiled with Nerd icons support.

It would be nice (imo) if this build (or the bin, whichever you think is more appropriate) would include the comp flag for nerd font icon support as described here: https://github.com/leo-arch/clifm/wiki/Advanced/#icons-smirk
Thanks for taking the time to maintain this package.

Hi haawda. Thanks for your suggestions; I'll keep them in mind, of course.
Indeed, I'll modify the current package to use a tarball, and create a new one (clifm-git) using the latest git release.
Regarding the use of the git repo instead of a tarball, you're right, I know, but since I work on this a lot of time, and thereby make changes quite often (perhaps two or three git pushes per day, maybe more), it's easier for me to use the upstream git repo (I don't need to create a new git release nor update the checksums), and then test the whole thing on my own machines.

Hello, thanks for maintaining this.
Why did you switch back to using the upstream git repo instead of tarballs? The package name without -git is suggesting that you want to provide a build from stable sources, so using a tarball would me more appropiate. In the current state when pulling from git clifm-git would be the better name (and 'git' should be a makedependency).
If you decide to provide a -git package, keep this thread in mind.

Do not bump the AUR package for every upstream commit. v0.22.2 is not even out yet.
