That would be one solution. But then the users may have to define which binary they want to use as default (for example in their ~/.bashrc or scripts) if they don't want to type in the full path of the binary which they want to use.
Another solution would be to rename one c4group file. But I would rather not rename the files for easier usage of tutorials, to be compatible with documentations and to not intervere with the scripts of the users.
I will also follow the thread on openclonk.
The simplest solution so far would be to remove the /usr/bin/c4group symlink/binary.

I've updated the openclonk PKGBUILD to 5.4.0 and had to add a conflict due to /usr/bin/c4group. I asked the OpenClonk team for feedback (http://forum.openclonk.org/topic_show.pl?tid=2936) but I'm not sure how to progress from here. It would be awesome if we could have both games installed at the same time. Would it make sense to remove the /usr/bin/c4group symlink/binary on both packages and keep it in the game folder only?

If you run into every keypress being interpreted as a double keypress, try unsetting or emptying XMODIFIERS in your shell before starting clonk_rage.
