@tbw It appears the printer driver source link (http://files.canon-europe.com/files/soft40269/Software/MP495series_printer_driver.tar) has 404'd.

I've released a new version with simplified dependecies, for x86_64 only. This includes the removal of the deb2targz dependency.

Why are you using deb2targz instead of simply extracting the .deb file with bsdtar?

Looks like the package also has the following additional dependency : - lib32-libcups After install, one should also not forget to enable/start cups service if not already the case (org.cups.cupsd.service)

"ghostscript" package is a dependency and should be installed for the printer to work correctly

I am getting the error below. error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) cnijfilter-common-x86_64: /usr/lib64 exists in filesystem

(Both exist in /usr/lib64/ and are linked to from /usr/lib/)

Hmm. I'm getting; [Job 173] /usr/local/bin/cifmp495: error while loading shared libraries: libcnbpcmcm369.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory with no printout. i also get; [Job 179] /usr/local/bin/lgmonmp495: error while loading shared libraries: libcnbpcnclapi369.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Any ideas? Ta.
