Calling without modification is not correct because it in turn calls gtk-update-icon-cache (see line 127 of Normally packages shouldn't do this, since it's going to get run anyway after installation (see

The easiest way I can think of is adding a prepare() and patching the install script to remove that line.

Sorry, I realized I commented on the wrong package. I was installing the colloid-gtk-theme-git when I received the error. I tried deleting the cache but same error. I could install it manually, without yay.

I'm getting (translated): cp: cannot get status of '/home/x/.cache/yay/colloid-gtk-theme-git/src/Colloid-gtk-theme/src/assets/gtk/thumbnails/thumbnail-red-dark.png': File or folder does not exist
