Disowning this package as I don't use it. It's not seen an update in over three years anyway, so it's pretty low maintenance.

Can't reproduce that here. Reading up on ioctl errors suggest it could be caused by a faulty DVD drive or something. Is there anything printed to dmesg/journal when cmdagent starts?

MarcusMoeller commented on 2016-03-08 13:06

When I run a systemctl stauts cmdagent.service, I got an error message like:

cmdagent[647]: ioctl error. Inappropriate IOCTL (I/O-Control) for device

Afterwards it states:

cmdagent[647]: starting cmdagent

I have installed the comodo-modules for the kernel version that I am currently running.

Yeah, the module sources that comodo ships with are at least two years out of date. I think comodo abandoned the Linux version after they released v1.1.

I guess it still receives definition updates, but I can't imagine v1.1 was so perfect that there was no bugs to fix or feature improvements to make..

modprobe: FATAL: Module redirfs not found.
RedirFS kernel modules installation failed.

for kernel 3.15 and higher you'd need to replace driver.tar from here
