The emerald0.9 and fusion-icon0.9 packages have been removed from the AUR today, as per the pinned notices added to their respective AUR pages last month. Please switch to emerald [1] and fusion-icon [2] if you used emerald0.9 and/or fusion-icon0.9 and you haven't already made the switch. Anyone using the emerald0.9 or fusion-icon0.9 packages, please see those package's comments sections.

This update makes the Compiz package provide the individual Compiz components. This has been done with the view of transitioning from the fusion-icon0.9 and emerald0.9 packages to emerald and fusion-icon as the compiz-reloaded folks have added Compiz 0.9 support to both upstream. The fusion-icon package should work as is and I've asked the emerald maintainer to make the necessary changes to the emerald PKGBUILD.

No problem. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. And yes, the last update was to change the ordering. Just in case you don't know, if you click View Changes under Package Actions on the AUR webpage you can see precisely what I've done for each update.

@Chazza: Thanks for that info. I tried switching the order of the patch commands in the PKGBUILD and got it working. But I see that you've updated the AUR package, so that probably wasn't necessary.

My apologies. I should have reverse applied the r3981 diff first instead of last. Having it applied last was wiping out my previous change to the Window Decoration command - the command with the COMPIZ_BIN_DIR variable doesn't appear to work properly.

The latest package (compiz-0.9.13.0-4) built and installed fine on my two systems, and it restores the behavior set via CCSM. But gtk-window-decorator doesn't seem to work: the window borders and shadows are not being drawn. Also, attempting to change the window border through the MATE Appearance -> Customize sometimes causes dconf-service (I think) to get stuck beating on the disk and CPU until I kill the Mate control center. I think I have all the relevant packages, including the AUR packages, up to date.

Seeing as these Ubuntu specific config patches are causing all sorts of problems, the expo offset for one thing and the multiple desktop number being set to 1 instead of 4, I've decided to just reverse the all the changes made in r3981 so that we can get back to the old upstream defaults.

Multiple desktop number was reset to 1 in 0.9.13. Thanks to @Chazza and @zigo for providing the solution. Hope this will be patched in future release.
