Version bump. gtk-window-decorator builds OK here, but I have Ubuntu patched libs installed... Will try it on a vanilla setup later, if I get time. Please note that no support for runtime issues will be provided here.

KDE decorator works, don't even try gtk decorator. Beware though, this version of compiz is very buggy and unstable. I used it for a day, and quickly downgraded to 0.8.

I apologize for the noise (again), but, is there any window decorator you guys use with this vesion of compiz? (I'm considering migrating to it, but I want to be sure first).

SanskritFritz commented on 2012-03-26 07:52 (UTC)

AFAIK there isn't.

Is there a versino of emerald that works with this version of compiz?

I used this PKGBUILD to get it working and escape the segfault: http://tinyurl.com/78vk7lc It won't build the gtk-window-decorator (it had bugs anyway, at least the git version), so I use kde4-window-decorator instead.

Appears to be broken with newer Gconf versions atm.
