As of today the compiz package could be downloaded and build. A big thanks to the maintainers of this code and PhotonX for alerting the Launchpad crew!

Hi all I have same issue with audio-recorder AUR package. I think Launchpad blocked everything all at once

Hi guys, so it's a safety measure in Launchpad. Looks like the only thing you can do if you are affected is to ask there to let them unblock your IP.

Same here. Download pkgbuild works, but makepkg -s leads to:

Cloning into bare repository '/home/matze/Downloads/AUR/compiz/compiz'...
fatal: unable to access 'https://git.launchpad.net/compiz/': Failed to connect to git.launchpad.net:443

Looks like the page is down - well... git.launchpad aka Ubuntu. Old distro of old people. They'll take their time.

Can anyone else confirm that Cube transparency is broken and turns down the overall brightness instead? I had the problem on 2 different virtual machines. Vmware and Virtualbox with Xfce4.
