I've created the mirror repo on GitHub:
https://github.com/4km3/AUR-concourse
and created a gitter chat for it:
https://gitter.im/AUR-concourse/community
I'll begin working on it at 16:00 CET today.
Feel free to join us and say hello!
@pancho: count me in!
Hi, fellas.
This monster has been left untamed for damn too long. I propose having a hack-a-ton this weekend to settle this once and for all.
Who's with me!?
(I'll create a mirror repo on GitHub and setup a Gitter chat channel to coordinate)
Also, anyone interested in co-maintain it is more than welcome to join. Just ask!
@hendres: The package is more or less unbuildable, as upstream neither provides build instructions, nor packaging guidelines. The integration with shipped images proves very complicated.
I'll disown, if you want to have a shot.
Hey folks, it is a while since it is flagged out of date. Any news, may I assist?
TODO: This package should build from source, since we have the -bin package which installs from upstream binary release.
I'll merge the build machinery from the -git package when I get the chance.
@anigeo: Sorry to keep you waiting... I'll try to check that it indeed works fine with the default kernel, now that USERNS is enabled by default. Can't commit to a specific date, though.
I'm maintainer of linux-userns AUR package, as Archlinux Kernel supports user namespaces since 4.14.4-2, would you test if the ARCH kernel works with your package?

@gbourant Thank you for reporting. I assume that this patch is also required for v7.11.2. I'll try the patch this night.
I've faced the same problem. I'll set the environment variable on PKGBUILD or announce here until it will be resolved.
