Could you please add 'armv7h' to the arch line? It builds just fine on my Raspberry Pi 2 :)

Most probably it builds just fine for armv6h too (e.g. Raspberry Pi 1), but I cannot confirm...

Updated to 1.10.1

Hello, every user should rebuild this package after the upgrade to ncurses 6, can you increment the pkgrel version in order to automate the rebuild process please?
Thanks!

I had to install perl-xml-sax-expat as well. Could something else provide the same functionality with neither being a make dependency?

Archer777 commented on 2015-07-21 12:52

@deons
Just rebuilded the package and its building fine without "perl-xml-sax-expat".

deons commented on 2015-07-21 12:37

Hi,

Please add perl-xml-sax-expat as a dependency, without it I get a build error.

1.9.0-3
Updated PKGBUILD acording to official package

bl4ckb1t commented on 2015-01-01 18:46

please add weather XOAP support (--enable-weather-xoap), it doesn't require X and would be nice to have it in this package, thanks.

sekret commented on 2014-02-24 09:05

I vote against a pkgrel bump. It's the user's responsibility to see if AUR packages need to be rebuilt after system updates.

maccyber commented on 2014-02-24 09:03

Because of a wireless_tools update, we need to recompile conky. Pkg version bump?

Anonymous comment on 2013-09-21 08:12

Hello everyone,
I've decided to maintain this package. Does anyone want me to do anything first?

ondoho commented on 2013-09-10 15:46

is it possible to install this alongside "normal" conky?

Anonymous comment on 2012-10-19 09:16

I've already added it locally, but wanted to make it possible for users to select options. I'll work on that asap, until then I'll just upload the version I have right now. Thanks mlq for reminding.

mlq commented on 2012-10-18 22:17

Please add the --enable-wlan flag

securitybreach commented on 2012-05-06 15:02

Thanks a lot Army!!!

Anonymous comment on 2012-05-06 09:22

adopted and updated, please report any kinds of problems!

Anonymous comment on 2011-02-10 08:47

Here is a modified PKGBUILD, http://ompldr.org/vN2Q3bQ

* Does not conflicts anymore with conky (uggly)
* Auto-detects if user has wireless_tools (which is my case)
* Correctly install license :)

falconindy commented on 2011-02-09 18:32

Minor PKGBUILD tweaks:

* updated depends as per namcap
* removed reference to $startdir
* quote directories

JokerBoy commented on 2010-12-22 16:31

some users still use 1.8.0..

falconindy commented on 2010-12-21 13:39

Adopted and updated.

karc commented on 2010-08-23 13:41

@Agi93 please feel free to edit PKGBUILD by yourself. Enabling --enable-wlan switch requires additional package to be installed: wireless_tools and since not everybody uses wlan (including me) I am not going to include it by default.

Anonymous comment on 2010-08-23 01:55

@fan_only1: You're thinking of --enable-wlan

I tried --enable-wireless with the build and it did not work. --enable-wlan adds the new wireless conky objects. I agree, this definitely should be in the PKGBUILD by default.

Anonymous comment on 2010-05-23 16:03

i can't figure out why "--enable-wireless" isn't included in the PKGBUILD build() func, this made me scratch my head quite some time before understanding why wireless* options were unable to output anything.

securitybreach commented on 2010-04-12 05:17

@system: Thanks

Anonymous comment on 2010-04-11 18:07

@securitybreach
All those configuration options are not supported by conky-cli, because they are related to X and fonts. You need to remove these all those lines. You also need to enable some sort of output, e.g. using "out_to_console yes".

securitybreach commented on 2010-04-11 17:36

To begin with I run Arch 64bit with Xmonad-darcs and pipe conky-cli into my Xmobar. That being said, something in the last few days has broken conky-cli on my machine. I am now getting tons of errors on my ~/.conkyrc:

You can upgrade to 1.8.0 with a mini-patch to fix some ifdef oversights: http://aur.pastebin.com/pafqjnhM - apply with -p2
