This functionality has been added to the mainstream Conky (1.10.7). Now conky-mt package does not make sense.

Recently released conky version 1.10.7 (https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky/releases/tag/v1.10.7) with akorop's (I guess) patches (commit https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky/commit/d97f4dfd8a4f395ef65abfd67d5a758aadb46042), maybe check and update this package?

Conky now (1.10) seems to have mouse transparency in mainstream. But in not work on the my computer. I fix this issue and also fix the bug about execgraph command

Sorry for the late response; in Conky i'm using:

own_window = true,
own_window_type = 'normal',
own_window_transparent = false,
own_window_hints = 'undecorated,sticky,below,skip_taskbar,skip_pager',
own_window_argb_visual = true,
own_window_argb_value = 0,

I use the conky-lua-nv package and have just added the build flag as you've stated in your comment. Note: your conky config syntax is for conky 1.9; 1.10 uses new syntax. (not that it should matter)

I'm using cinnamon (gnome)

This is strange. I build package from ABS with "-D BUILD_XSHAPE=ON \" added to the cmake call, but it not works. Config contains the lines following:

own_window_type normal
own_window_hints undecorated,above,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager

May You send me Your config that You tested?

I adopt my patch to the 1.10 sources and it works with the same config.

While digging through the conky code i found it has already been added since 2014, you have to enable the BUILD_XSHAPE for it to work. (Tested on current build, it works)

It uses slightly different code than your patch

I've never compiled conky from source myself. But I've noticed other conky packages are using patches as well to get 1.10 to compile. E.g. https://aur4.archlinux.org/packages/conky-lua-nv/ maybe it can be of some help.

I don't understand the situation with conky's sources. At https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky reside some new program written in C++, and I don't know how to build it (after cmake and make I have compiler error message).

Why don't you push this patch to Conky as a feature and add a new keyword like "own_window_clickthrough" true/false ?

The development has moved to: https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky btw and he will not post any more releases you just have to grab conky from the github.
Current version is 1.10.

(i'm currently not using this package but i'm very interested in getting this feature in all Conky versions)
