Hi paramvir, Still a blank conky with 0.7.4 after checking conf file and using different own_window_type settings with LXDE desktop. Debug log is fine it seems. I'm thinking it's probably going wrong in conky not conkywx. The ArchForum is probably the best place for me to communicate further.

What Desktop Environment are you using - If it is Gnome 3 - The setting in conkyrc "own_window_type override" does not work - you need to set it "own_window_type normal". or other options like desktop etc

There are many changes after 0.6.8 - so perhaps if you could give the output for conkywx --debug also see the forums https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1162348 The config file has 2 new options: Units_downloaded=SI show_short_cond_text=0

Great app! 0.6.8 was working fine. The new 0.7.3-1 just blanks out. I couldn't find any obvious reasons for this. It doesn't look like the parameters in conf have changed.
