@kogepathic, sorry for the late answer. Yes I am sure about it and just this afternoon I was connected to the network, I definitely need TTLS and PAP. @taylorchu, my university recommends this wpa_supplicant.conf entry network={ ssid="eduroam" key_mgmt=WPA-EAP eap=TTLS auth_alg=OPEN anonymous_identity="anonymous@wonttellyoumyuniversity.de" phase2="auth=PAP" identity="" password="" ca_path="/etc/ssl/certs" } and it works. That and netctl's entry is where I have this info from, since it's the only wpa2 enterprise network I have access to. While I'm on it, taylorchu, where did you find out how to make a wpa2 enterprise profile for connman? I looked into pure connmanctl because I like using the official tools, but it's impossible, see this bug filed for cmst https://github.com/andrew-bibb/cmst/issues/2#issuecomment-40088345 Since you seem to know connman pretty well (even on a code level?), do you have any idea? I just think it would be great if connman_dmenu wouldn't need root access.

i am sure that I am correct because i read the c source code. 1. EAP = ttls is essentially identical to peap. 2. there is no phase2 method called pap

@sekret You should be able to use MSCHAPv2 to connect to eduroam. That's what I use to connect to the eduroam network at my university. Are you certain you're entering your credentials in correctly?

Hi, I just gave connman and your script a try and I like it a lot! But initially I couldn't connect to my university's eduroam network. So I looked up how netctl handles such connections, because it works with netctl. This way I found out, that I need EAP = ttls Phase2 = PAP instead of EAP = peap Phase2 = MSCHAPV2 which you use in your script. Since that's the only enterprise network I have access to, I have to ask: Are you sure your settings work for the majority of enterprise networks? Is there a way to find out what settings are required for specific networks?

Those descriptions aren't really the best.

don't do this, they should be named -git don't put a function in the pkgver variable in pacman 4.1 you can use a pkgver() function https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_PKGBUILD_Guidelines
