Fresh install of contour, i obtain this error:

Fatal: Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (6.8.1) with this library (6.8.0) ((null):0, (null))

vnepogodin commented on 2024-11-18 21:32 (UTC)

should be fixed now

Errored installing:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::filesystem::__cxx11::filesystem_error'
what(): filesystem error: cannot create directories: Permission denied [/root/.local/state/contour/crash]

Running export XDG_STATE_HOME=$HOME/.local/state and re-running yay -S contour-git Got it installed

Thanks for the report.

I've fixed the build in clean chroot.

@xiota

yeah upstream changed it, but my PKGBUILD doesn't use relative path

will fix in a while

Thanks for the response. I've added missing runtime dependency.

HalosGhost commented on 2022-07-29 18:12 (UTC)

There is a missing runtime dependency for qt5-multimedia. Without that dep, the package fails to build and the terminal fails to run.

All the best,

Creating an empty file at ~/.config/kcmfonts seems to make it work, although I don't really understand why. The same error messages still appear, so they don't seem to be related.

The program fails to start for me. If I run contour from another terminal, the following is printed:

[error] Unknown experimental feature tag: tcap.
[error] Deprecated cursor config colorscheme entry. Please update your colorscheme entry for cursor.
[error] Superfluous config key found: experimental.tcap
[error] Superfluous config key found: scrollbar.position
[error] Superfluous config key found: scrollbar.hide_in_alt_screen

[error] Superfluous config key found: profiles.main.font.only_monospace
[error] Superfluous config key found: profiles.main.tab_width
[error] Superfluous config key found: profiles.main.hyperlink_decoration.default

...and nothing further seems to happen. No window appears and the only thing I can do is press ^C to interrupt the process.

It's hard to tell if this is a packaging problem or an upstream problem, since the error messages don't mention what "config" they're referring to.
