This is now the binary packages, that repackages upstream-provided binaries, and works only for x86_64. The package aur/coolvlviewer-experimental builds fron source for both i686 and x86_64.

Sudoquai, kindly stop abusing the flag-out-of-date option. This is not the first time you do it, but it will be the last, as the next time you do it I shall report you to the moderators. The viewer's developing branch is currently inactive. When there is a new developing branch, I shall package it in this (and in the corresponding source package). The end.

This package of of CoolVLViewer Experimental seems to work as a binary but i do unlike the fact i can't install a reproducable build of it and do not like binaries, if i am not able to compile it at myself.

Could you elaborate what is the difference to: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/coolvlviewer-bin ?

Your source build seems to contain some errors, which should be fixed: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/coolvlviewer-experimental/

The source build compiled, but Cool Viewer was not able to start - neither by clicking the icon and neither from terminal with:

[linux@q coolvlviewer]$ ./cool_vl_viewer Running from /opt/coolvlviewer ./bin/cool_vl_viewer-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libopenal.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Bad shutdown.

If you have some time, please fix the source build. Thank you very much !
