Users having problems compiling corebird after the harfbuzz 1.4.1 update (like @7etc), please remove infinality-bundle libs from your system (I had them, but just figured out they were outdated). You can read everything in here:

I have a problem building this package with meson and ninja, maybe due permissions. The error is:

NotADirectoryError: [Errno 20] Not a directory: 'selinuxenabled'
FAILED: meson-install

Does anyone else have issues with corebird recently? I am using it under KDE Plasma 5 and for the last couple weeks it takes up to 30 seconds until it launches. I tried rebuilding it but to no avail.

I can confirm @forlorn's finding:

In the .desktop file /usr/share/applications/org.baedert.corebird.desktop is an error that stops showing the correct icon for corebird:

should be

This error only shows when you are using German locales.
