@xenhat

Only concerning the unsupported kernel flavor = the zen-kernel patches are incompatible with CoreFreq

As a remainder, CoreFreq is made for the mainstream Linux kernel.

Note to the maintainer: the upstream repository has removed the develop branch. Take a look at https://github.com/cyring/CoreFreq/issues, there's a few scary ones at the moment. EDIT: This was meant for the -git version.

I thought I'd mention that transparency support has been added, but requires the build flag UI_TRANSPARENCY=1 when building the client. Starting the client with transparency theme directly can be done with corefreq-cli -OE 2 -t. See https://github.com/cyring/CoreFreq/issues/254 and https://github.com/cyring/CoreFreq/pull/257

janvkn: agreed, I'll try reporting this upstream. His tags should include the revision part as well which he does update on coretypes.h. If you want you can chip in the discussion

@artafinde: thanks for the fix

Really annoying and bad practice that upstream reuses the same tag >:(

janvkn: very true.. This is upstream issue though, cyring decided to release a hotfix and retagged the 1.85 tag on a different commit. He should really be using a different tag - I'll fix the package now.

The b2sum of corefreq-1.85.tar.gz doesn't match what's in the PKGBUILD:

b2sum corefreq-1.85.tar.gz a9a18314e6bc7b443cd3434fce108709141c7bff25eb78c208bbc25f37acaa94028b60a08a763fd49d8e3fa02bcb4fc02c20eeda3b1300e75d4e43395c14a70d corefreq-1.85.tar.gz

Nevermind, it's the remote file that has changed it's checksum, and I'm using a cache...

marco44: please provide full output if you have issues with installing this. (preferably in pastebin, gist).
