To install Flatpaks, one may need to manually add the Flathub repo:

flatpak remote-add --user flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

System Flatpaks are not yet supported, see #37.

You need to add in dependencies: ostree and flatpak. If you don't, Cosmic store doesn't start.

@Riggs9715 Thanks, installing vulkan-intel fixed it! Never knew I had to specifically install vulkan drivers.

@FSund double check specifically for the intel vulkan drivers. The laptop I'm using is integrated intel as well and the only other instance I can find of people having this issue is related to missing vulkan drivers. Is it possible you installed your drivers for the actual gpu but never installed the ones for the integrated intel graphics?

Drivers are installed. It renders correctly if I force it to run on the NVIDIA GPU via prime-run, but not if run on the integrated Intel GPU.

The issue from @FSund isn't related to the package. They are just missing their video drivers. I've just saw the same issue on a freshly set up laptop. After installing drivers, it was fixed after a reboot

@FSund: I can't reproduce it.

I'm having an issue where all icons and images are rendered as black boxes https://i.imgur.com/gBJx3dG.png

Any idea what could cause this?
