Why is i368 one of the two architectures in the PKGBUILD? I know that i686 is backwards compatible with i386, but pacman doesn't recognize it as such. This results in the following error:
ERROR: cpplint is not available for the 'i686' architecture.
Fixing it is of course trivial (change i386 to i686), but I guess that should be changed in the PKGBUILD on AUR itself. Could you do this?

could you also please add `https://code.google.com/p/google-styleguide/source/browse/trunk/cpplint/README' to the PKGBUILD?

I made cpplint-py3 from the fork, so people can choose.
EDIT:
cpplint-py3
is nowpython-cpplint
in [community]. You should be upgraded automatically. If you still wish to use this package, you are free to do so, however, be aware that Arch Linux will eventually drop Python 2.
