Download the snapshot and Change the line in the PKGBUILD file

#sed -e "s|'/opt/cuda'|'/opt/cuda-toolkit'|" -e "s|' --host-compilation C'||" -i
---------------- to This -----------------
sed -e "s|' --host-compilation C'||" -i ${srcdir}/cpyrit-cuda-0.4.0/

you also need to do the following

sudo pacaur -Syu downgrade
sudo downgrade scapy
# downgrade CURRENT SCAPY 2.3.3 to 2.3.2 version theres a problem with scapy and pyrit

sudo pyrit -r capture-01.cap analyze

ERROR BitEnumField' object has no attribute 'names'

I have a problem with installation this package.

Here is output:
ln -s /opt/cuda-toolkit /opt/cuda

sorry, as soon as possible lighthouse editing PKGBUILD

Hey guys this still functional with the current CUDA packages? Also the PKGBUILD is depreciated/needs the package() function, thanks!

I had to recompile the package to get it to work, and to do that I had to edit I changed NVIDIA_INC_DIRS = [] to NVIDIA_INC_DIRS = ['/opt/cuda/include'] on line 33 and then it compiled. Not sure how to fix that in the PKGBUILD.

then ... makedepends = cuda ?

As I said in the svn package, this no longer works with the new cuda package in community which seems to be version 5. Looks like we're going to have to get a cuda4-toolkit package going or something, the last update to pyrit was in April 2011.

As livix said:
you must do (as root or via sudo) a:
ln -s /opt/cuda-toolkit /opt/cuda

mefistofeles commented on 2012-05-16 08:10

I'm getting the following error when compiling the package, am I missing something?

In file included from _cpyrit_cuda.c:44:0:
_cpyrit_cuda.h:22:18: fatal error: cuda.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I've made an updated PKGBUILD:
# Contributor: William Díaz <wdiaz [at] archlinux [dot] us>

pkgdesc="Pyrit support for Nvidia-CUDA."
arch=('i686' 'x86_64')
depends=('python2' 'openssl' 'zlib' 'nvidia' 'pyrit')
makedepends=('gcc' 'python2' 'cuda-toolkit')

build() {
cd ${srcdir}/${pkgname}-${pkgver}
python2 build
python2 install --root=${pkgdir}
but you must do a:
ln -s /opt/cuda-toolkit /opt/cuda
in order to build it successfully

See the comment by Holoduke on the "pyrit" package (especially about patching "" to include the 'crypto' library!).
