Good to see the update to 1.16 but it's still missing the 'git' makedepends entry so will not build cleanly.

It should also use source URL fragments instead of checking out in prepare (or use the tarbal releases instead).

Minimal diff to compile.

Service starts, but I've yet to test anything else. Please note the differences in the generation of the default config file. Adjust to fit your own needs.

Please update this package or abandon it.

Is there a chance to update PKGBUILD any time soon?

Omar007 commented on 2019-10-23 15:11

Few points:

1) 1.15.2 has been out for a while now so the current out-of-date flag is kinda out-of-date itself xD

2) Upstream source location is now https://github.com/cri-o/cri-o

3) makedepends array must contain 'git' as it is pulling from a repository

4) Use fragments instead of checking out in prepare(); source=("git+https://github.com/cri-o/cri-o#tag=v${pkgver}")

Optionally you could drop 3 and 4 by using the tarbal releases as the source instead.

is anyone else getting this error?

@mxork Thanks for the heads-up, apparently --default-mounts is going to be deprecated soon. I removed that option when generating crio.conf so let me know if that works better.

mxork commented on 2019-01-08 17:00

the crio.conf in this package includes --default-mounts /run/secrets \, which as far as I can tell, is incorrectly formatted, since it is supposed to be in the form hostdir:containerdir:.

creating pods on top of this results in the error:

unable to get host dir and container dir
