how to rename package ?

ava1ar commented on 2018-10-31 06:53

From the AUR packages naming convention, this package should be named as cudatext-bin, since it doesn't build editor from sources but rather repackages binary version from deb. I will take a look on making a PKGBUILD for building it from source and if that works, I may ask you to rename the package.

is fixed

Markdown lexer is broken in the current version 1.64.0.0-1_gtk2_amd64.deb. 1.64.0.5, on SF, fixed it. Heads up to package maintainer.

Also on my system the taskbar icon seems to be missing (KDE).

Yes, pls use another source, since SF.net releases are deleted by me, when releases are old.

I wonder if it would work with different source: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cudatext/files/release/Linux/cudatext_1.38.3.0-1_gtk2_amd64.deb/download

Considering that source name indicates it is gtk2 package, should it not depend on gtk2?

Looks like the source is invalid; it's returning a 404.
