1.138.0.0 has been released.

On line 23 of PKGBUILD: "Developement" should change to: "Development"

Suggestion of improvement: gendesk -f -n --pkgname ${_pkgname} --name "CudaText" --pkgdesc "${pkgdesc}" --categories "Development" --icon "cudatext-512" --exec "cudatext" --mimetypes "text/plain"

@Bogen85 uvviewsoft has the package now, it just gets updated a bit later than fosshub.

1.133.0.5 has been released.

I edited this PKGBUILD and was able to install it after updating sources URL and sha256sums.

However, the download link was tricky. 1.133.0.5 was not available on uvviewsoft.

Downloads are on fosshub now. https://www.fosshub.com/CudaText.html

The following link only works in the browser:

https://www.fosshub.com/CudaText.html?dwl=cudatext-linux-qt5-amd64-1.133.0.5.tar.xz

And it gets turned into something like this:

https://download.fosshub.com/Protected/expiretime=1620790185;badurl=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZm9zc2h1Yi5jb20vQ3VkYVRleHQuaHRtbA==/17d0ce1086750bcb0d8b00fafc6c7b567ba47a3917d206824040f3726e39d748/5c191d1d0b70535796ca860d/60997913abcf810357b728bf/cudatext-linux-qt5-amd64-1.133.0.5.tar.xz

Which is what I used in the PKGBUILD source.

So, off hand I don't know how to get a calculable permanent link for the PKGBUILD source.

@Alextp It seems the version in Arch Linux (https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/qt5pas/) is at 1.2.6 while the newest release on the link you posted is 1.2.9. Arch is supposed to always have the newest versions of all packages in its repos, weird. Are these the same things or am I misunderstanding something?

1.131.0.0 is public now. Question: can you post the new version of libQt5Pas from here? https://github.com/davidbannon/libqt5pas/releases . It is needed for last CudaText.

I deleted folder by mistake. 1.130.0.0 is there now.

PKGBUILD is broken. It seams now downloads lead to fosshub.

Do you need a desktop file in the .tar? Normally tar file is for users who don't need desktop files, they run it from terminal. You can download desktop file using URL in github repo.
