@Peach: how are you installing AUR packages? just rebuilding should fetch you the latest git version, so no need to mark the package as out of date.

darktable-git 4.5.0.r556.gefa29ebcd4-1 works fine. It imports my own 3dluts correctly

Yes, I had read it correctly... in a fresh root.

I did the manipulation twice with and without gnuplot

With no problem, without my compilation does not go to the end

On a 5.15.76-1-MANJARO RELEASE=22.0.0

Apparently the error "darktable-git/src/darktable/src/imageio/format/jxl.c:196:3: error: unknown "bool" type name" Seems to be related to the JPEG-XL format recently introduced in dt.

But this is beyond my competence and the relation with gnuplot has no logic for me

I managed to build it in a fresh chroot, so with no gnuplot (i just double-checked)

I think I've got it.

My system had just been installed, in fact I had to install gnuplot and its dependencies libcerf and lua before.

Then the compilation goes to its end, I arrive at version 4.1.0+802~gaa2691b2df so the last commits included.

The presence of gnuplot is not checked during the construction and is not optional otherwise the compilation crashes

I managed to build it on my environment, and in a fresh chroot, so no idea where it comes from...
